What this covers
This policy applies to every restaurant and user account on the Dishlane platform. It exists to keep the platform lawful, deliverable (messaging that reaches inboxes) and safe for diners.
No unlawful sales
You may only sell what you may lawfully sell, to people you may lawfully sell it to. That includes complying with licensing law for alcohol, age-restriction rules, and food-safety and hygiene law. Sales categories that are illegal, or that require licences you do not hold, are prohibited.
No spam — messaging rules
The messaging modules (email, SMS, WhatsApp) may only be used within these rules:
- Marketing only to people who actively opted in — the checkbox is unticked by default and the platform records the consent.
- STOP replies and unsubscribe links are always honoured by the platform, and you must never attempt to work around them.
- Platform-provided messaging is subject to monthly fair-use quotas.
- No purchased lists, no scraping, no messaging people who have no relationship with your restaurant.
No security probing
Do not probe, scan or test the platform's security, attempt to access another restaurant's data, bypass rate limits, or interfere with webhooks or signatures. If you find a vulnerability, report it to us and we will take it seriously.
No infringing or deceptive content
Do not publish content you do not have the rights to (menus, photos, trademarks), and do not misrepresent who you are, what you sell, or your affiliation with anyone else. Allergen and dietary claims must be accurate.
Enforcement
Our default is proportionate: we warn first and work with you to fix the problem. Serious or repeated breaches — and anything unlawful or endangering diners — can lead to suspension or termination of the account, per the Terms of Service.
Reporting abuse
To report abuse of the platform — spam, impersonation, unsafe listings — email join@quantumaiwebapps.com. Reports are read by a human.
