Dishlane

About Dishlane · a Quantum AI WebApps product

Built for independents.

One job, done properly: your restaurant online, on rails you own, with 0% of your sales taken on the way through.

The story so far

A small product with one strong opinion.

Dishlane is a Quantum AI WebApps product, built in the UK for independent restaurants. It exists because of one number: delivery apps take up to 36% of an order — and for most independents, that is the whole margin.

Our answer is flat pricing on rails you own. You bring your own payment account, phone number and domain; we build the software — website, ordering, kitchen screen, loyalty, marketing, POS — and take nothing per order. When a pound comes in, it lands in your bank, not ours.

Ottomans on Wood Street, Walthamstow (E17) is our first live restaurant — 4.9★ on Google across 112 reviews. One real restaurant rather than a wall of logos; ask us and we will show you around it.

We are new, and we would rather say that plainly than dress it up. What we can promise is the part we control: honest pricing, honest comparisons, and software that treats your money and your data as yours.

Four commitments, in ink.

Ownership

Your keys. Your data.

Payments run on your own Stripe, Square or PayPal account, your domain is registered in your name, and order texts can go out on your own Twilio number. Menu, photos, pages and policies export whenever you ask.

If leaving is easy, we have to keep earning your stay

Money

0% commission, forever

You pay a flat subscription or a one-time founding fee — never a percentage of sales. Your card provider still charges its normal processing fee, as it would on any platform; we add nothing on top of it.

Flat price · your own payment account · no per-order cut

Honesty

We publish where we lose

Our comparison table concedes that Toast and Square are stronger POS systems today, and the homepage lists who we are not the right fit for. Every competitor figure we print is that platform’s own published rate.

Honest comparisons · real published rates · a public not-a-fit list

Engineering

Server-authoritative money

Order totals are recomputed on the server — a browser is never trusted to price its own basket. An order only counts as paid once your payment provider’s webhook confirms it, and every amount is stored as integer pence.

Totals recomputed server-side · the webhook is the source of truth for paid

How we build

Modules, not a monolith.

Dishlane is nine modules, not one monolith: website, ordering, kitchen display, loyalty, marketing, AI assistant, analytics, bookings and POS. Each is built to stand on its own, and your plan decides which of them are switched on — you are never paying for a suite to get the two things you use.

That is a deliberate engineering bet. A module solid enough to sell by itself has to keep its own promises — the ordering system cannot lean on the loyalty system to look finished, and switching one off never breaks another. It also keeps us honest about what each part is worth.
